My Story
I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. My first major initiation on my path of healing was navigating a speech impediment. From the time I was a child, it would take me minutes to speak a sentence. With this came many traumas due to bullying & psychological effects of not being able to talk that opened me up to understanding the art of compassion and kindness. I was exposed to the the different forms of cruelty that exist in this world.I never wanted to ever be mean to anyone, I had deep honor for the gift everyone’s voice, learned to stand up for myself and others.
Since I couldn’t speak, I could sing. I would sing for hours and hours every single day, and that is the reason my voice can now channel and carry different frequencies and tones. Eventually, through singing and speech therapy, I was able to heal my speech impediment.
Since I was a child, I was able to connect with different spirits, but at the time I didn’t understand what it was and had zero guidance. I had a very deep connection to God. Instead of study hall in school, I would spend time in the chapel and pray.
When I entered my mid 20s, I experienced a knee injury that ultimately introduced me to the art of healing touch, where I started my training as a Healing Touch practitioner. My aunt had practiced Healing Touch on me, and after months of pain, my knee was able to heal after one session.
Healing Touch is a fully certified program that allows practitioners to work in hospitals around the world. It is a gentle, nurturing touch that balances the body's energy centers, reduces stress, and accelerates healing.
I was a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) working at a skilled nursing facility, where I also led activities for the residents. I got to work with souls who were transitioning and healing by practicing Healing Touch, leading life enrichment activities, and working with the chaplain. I got to enhance and support people’s spiritual practices and hold them as they transitioned from this life to the next. I also trained in vibrational sound therapy and began working as a sound therapist.
In my personal journey of healing, I had experienced deep sexual trauma and had never heard of Ayahuasca before. After hearing a miracle story from a sister, I had an absolute knowing that I was meant to sit with this medicine. So, within a month and a half, I booked my ticket and came to Peru, where the medicine instructed me to go home, pack up my life in the States, and move to Peru.
In 2017, I left my life in the States and moved to Peru, where I began my work with the plants. I immediately started working at an Ayahuasca retreat center as a facilitator. When COVID came, I was stuck in the jungle, and my two-week stay turned into several months of dieting with different master plants and Ayahuasca.
Eventually, I made my home in the Sacred Valley and spent the next four years continuing to diet the plants, deepen my work as a facilitator for dietas, ceremonies, and retreats, and learn how to serve the medicine.
I have dieted Ajo Sacha, Bobinsana, Piñon Colorado, Noya Rao, Tobacco, Renaquilla, Oak, Bolaqueiro, Tamamuri, Sequoia, Shihuahuaco, and Rose.
I worked alongside and trained with Nacho Rodriguez, of Maha Templo, a respected Ayahuasca facilitator here in the valley. I also learned to serve Huachuma from Marcella and David Pantigozo of Centro Inkani Coca. After spending seven years working, dieting, and training, I received the invitation to step into serving from my teachers and the plants.
For the last two years, I have devoted my work to serving Huachuma and leading Rose dietas. My work with the medicine includes a Western therapeutic approach blended with shamanic healing, sound therapy, light language, and the different tools I’ve learned and been gifted along my path.
I devote my full heart to this work and to the people I have the pleasure of serving. It would be an honor to support you on your healing journey.
